| A Fellow Fallen Angel |
Let's say there's a prisoner. Caged in as long as he can remember. A cage that he (un)willingly put himself in. The crime? Doesn't matter.
One day the man has got a chance to breathe in a beautiful smell...A fragrance of freedom, you could say. Possibly, the most beautiful smell he FELT after a long time.
How could he avoid a freedom like that? Nobody in the right mind would.
Suddenly you take away 'em. You ripping his freedom (fragrance) off of him. It has to happen. No choice. It just had to. No one's to blame.
That fragrance of freedom is not yours to keep. It's somebody else's. He can learn to live without a fragrance but would he? I think not... But he should..
Since the man let his happiness be decided by other people, he has to go inside. No choice.
The prison keeper got a story of her own. Turns out, she's a prisoner too.. Someone else's and/or something else's. Not her wish to see all this. But just had to happen. You've got to think from her perspective as well...
I don't think some get a shot at happiness.
What a fuckin fool I am to think all would change within hours.
No matter the action, we don't deserve to be this miserable at this age.
